To kick off 2022 we will be doing something a little different. I have decided not to engage a Keynote Speaker. I believe there is more expertise and experience relating to the challenges we face as Spending Planners, and the solutions to those challenges, right within our own ranks. Rather than have someone from outside present their ideas on what to do and how to do it.

Some of the items I want to look at are: –

  • A new idea for signing up clients
  • What we offer clients
  • A potential supply of leads that has come up
  • A review of everything we have done in the past to get a clear picture of where our energy should be going in 2022 and beyond.

To make sure nobody misses out, I will also schedule an evening session the following week for anyone who can not attend on the Saturday. Please contact Kathy if YOU wish to be included in the evening session. There is no reason why you could not attend both!

Do not miss this opportunity.

Here’s what Spending Planners have said about previous annual conferences:

“Being able to have real live conversations with other Spending Planners in the trenches really boosted my learning and confidence as a Spending Planner.  The highlight for me last year was the live happy client testimonials.  It was wonderful hearing from customers themselves about their experiences of the program.  If I’m committed to my business, I’m committed to annual conference.  The two are inseparable.” Anthea Falkiner, ONSPOTY Award Recipient

“Conference for me was about networking, remembering that we are part of a much bigger picture and a very exciting future. Having the time to talk with other spending planners, sharing stories of successes and failures, being encouraged, learning new strategies, listening to great speakers and GETTING EXCITED!!
“My big takeaway was a SPOTY trophy and this trophy, which now sits on my filing cabinet at work, is a great talking point. Anyone can aspire to this trophy and I encourage all of you this year to get excited, have faith in what you have to offer, believe in yourself, keep in touch with others who can encourage you, and prepare to be there at next year’s conference. The world is waiting for you!” Carolyn Moes, SPOTY Award Recipient

“My favourite part was Tonia’s structure and goals for the client each month. We have started to implement them and we are slowly becoming more structured in our approach.”  Bree-Ann Handyside, SPOTY Award Recipient

“My takeaway was renewed enthusiasm and filling in some of the gaps in my knowledge, which had appeared since training. My favourite sessions were meeting Nick and gaining a better understanding of the how’s and why’s of our program development and Tonia’s session sharing how she works with her clients. It is a testimony to the integrity of the Spending Plan Institute that their sales person would want to become a Spending Planner!”  Jenny Graham
